Junior Nordisk Mesterskap – Jolle og brett
20. – 25. juli 2009
Arendals Seilforening, i samarbeid med Grimstad Seilforening og Christiansands Seiforening, har gleden av å invitere til Junior Nordisk Mesterskap 2009 i perioden 20. til 25. juli. Mesterskapet er åpent for alle aktuelle klasser vedtatt av Skandinavisk Seilforbund.
Arrangementet vil foregå samlet med utgangspunkt i Hove-leir på Tromøy utenfor Arendal. Seilområdene utenfor Hove og Torungene byr på gode og stabile vindforhold.
En tre-dagers optimistregatta planlegges for deltagernes søsken og venner. En forutsetning for regattaen er at foreldre med deltakende seilere bidrar til gjennomføringen.
Mesterskapet er en del av APL Race Week Arendal som i helgen avsluttes med Torungen Cup. Her konkurreres det i åpen LYS-klasse og det hadde vært hyggelig med skandinavisk deltakelse også under disse seilasene.

Nordic Youth Sailing Championship
20. – 25. of July 2009
Arendal Sailing Club in conjunction with Grimstad Sailing Club and Christiansands Sailing Club has the pleasure of issuing an invitation to the Junior Nordic Championship 2009 from the 20th to the 25th of July. The championship is open to all relevant classes approved by the Scandinavian Sailing Federation.
The arrangement will be held at Hove Camping on the island of Tromøy just outside Arendal. This is also the starting point of the regattas. The sailing area around Hove and the islands of Torungen offers fair and stable wind conditions.
A 3 day Optimist regatta is being arranged for the siblings and friends of the contestants. A prerequisite of this regatta is that the parents of the contestants help with the practicalities.
The championship is part of the APL Race Week Arendal which concludes at the weekend with the Torungen Cup. Here contestants will be competing under the handicap system LYS (Lidingø Yardstick). Participation of Scandinavian boats in this regatta would be very much appreciated.
