Welcome to Arendal

Arendal Yacht Club (Arendals Seilforening) is the proud organizer of Open Week and World Championship 2015 for the Europe class. The races are part of our annual NOV Race Week and take place in Arendal from 13th to 17th of July for the Open Week event and from 18th to 25th of July for the World Championship.

We can offer a compact event based at Hove, just 9 km outside Arendal city. In cooperation with Hove Leirsenter (Camp) we can offer reasonable accommodation for sailors, parents and supporters. Several cabins will be available for rent during the event. If you bring your own tent, camper or mobile-home, you will have the possibility to stay near by the race village. The nearest hotel is within walking distance from the race office.

The race area between Hove and Torungen lighthouses offers good and stable conditions. Welcome to Arendal and the World Championship 2015 for the Europe class.
